At PuraSim, we protect your data with the same care we give to your connection. Here, we explain, clearly, what data we process, why, and what rights you have. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Spanish regulations.
1. Data Controller
The data controller for your data is PuraSim (hereinafter, "PuraSim", "we"). You can contact us at any time at hola@purasim.com for any questions related to your privacy.
2. What data we collect
- Identification and contact data: name and email (and phone if provided), necessary to deliver your eSIM and provide support.
- Payment data: processed in encrypted form by our payment gateway (Shopify Payments and, where applicable, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay). PuraSim does not store your full card numbers.
- Order data: products purchased, amount, destination country of the eSIM, and purchase history.
- Technical and navigation data: IP address, device type and browser, and cookies, for the website to function and to improve it.
3. Why we use your data and legal basis
- To complete your purchase and deliver the eSIM (basis: contract performance).
- To provide support and answer your queries (basis: contract performance and legitimate interest).
- To comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations (basis: legal obligation).
- To send you offers and news only if you subscribe (basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- To prevent fraud and ensure security (basis: legitimate interest).
4. Who we share your data with
Only with providers that allow us to provide the service to you and who act as data processors under contract: the e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment gateways, and our eSIM connectivity providers, who need minimal data to provision your line. Some providers may be outside the European Economic Area; in such cases, appropriate safeguards apply (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses). We never sell your data to third parties.
5. How long we keep your data
We retain your data as long as you are a customer and, thereafter, for applicable legal periods (e.g., tax-related). When no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
6. Your rights
You can exercise your rights to access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and portability, as well as withdraw your consent, at any time by writing to us at hola@purasim.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Spain, the Spanish Data Protection Agency, www.aepd.es).
7. Cookies
We use our own and third-party cookies for the website to function, remember your cart, and understand in an aggregated way how the site is used. You can configure or block them from your browser; some are essential for the store to work.
